Rome Metro Pass - Get Around Rome With A Travelcard

Rome is a great city to explore with an excellent public transport system to help visitors get around and make the most of their holiday. Getting from each popular attraction is made easy with the 72-hour travelcard which comes free with each OMNIA Rome and Vatican Pass.

Save stress and hassle with a Travelcard

Free public transport throughout the city during your stay means there is no need to worry about how you are going to move around or how much it will cost.

The travelcard includes journeys on:

 Metro trains

 Trams

 Buses

 Overground trains

It’s easy to use - you simply show the Travelcard at ticket gates or to conductors and bus drivers then hop on board any of the metro lines, buses or trains included.

TOP TIPMake sure you sign the back of your travelcard to activate it. The travelcard is valid for 72 hours from the first activation.

Please note: The Travelcard does not include travel to and from the city airports.

Absolutly necessary unless you have 2 weeks to wait in queues. This pass may appear expensive but what you get is good value. There are other organisations that allow you to by-pass queues, and lots sell in the street, but if you add them all up it is more expensive than having an Omnia pass; it was also useful in getting rid of the sellers as we just waved this pass in their faces and they moved on. We used the bus a lot to start with so we could see the sights, but after a while using the underground, tram and bus system became the norm - the one pass covered them all. The only time I wouldn't bother would be if I didn't want to see any of the sights and just go for pizza.
